Let's get real.

a long but important note from me to you

Before we move forward, I think I need to share some important things. After all, if you want to work together, we should share the same priorities. And honesty is the key to that and all friendships. So here goes.

Photography is a joy to me, but it is most definitely not a job or side hustle. And I want it to stay that way.

But it’s important to remember that high quality photography is a premium service. This isn’t a K-mart associate with run-of-the-mill backgrounds and props and a store-owned camera taking a few snaps and calling it a day. This is an art that requires a lot of time and dedication to develop.

Unsurprisingly, pros will charge you hundreds, if not thousands, for portraits and tens of thousands for weddings. And that’s perfectly fair. More time and effort go into it than most will ever know.

Photos are often the few, sometimes the only, tangibles we keep from the greatest moments in life. They only increase in value as time goes on, and memory begins to fade. That’s what makes photography so beautiful.

With that in mind, I take on only a few clients per year so that I can give you my all. This also means my prices are firm, though I believe they are fair. I require a 30% retainer up front, and the balance is due on the scheduled date of service for portraits or a week before for weddings and events.

Thank you for your understanding.
